Attendees to the AUHF Conference in Cape Town this week, had the opportunity to go visit an innovative affordable housing methodology called "Empower Shack". iBUILD team members Jonathan Godbout, Chief Innovation Officer, and Hayden Peterson, Community Engagement Global Lead, went to visit Urban-Think Tank’s (U-TT) Empower Shack, located in Khayelitsha- Cape Town’s largest township. Thierno-Habib Hann, CFA, IFC Senior Housing Finance Specialist, accompanied as well. iBUILD is hoping to develop potential synergies for future collaborations with IFC and U-TT.
